With the emCats® EZpro E-Bike Conversion Kit, you can change your current bike to a safely motorized bicycle in just a short amount of time. A conversion kit allows you to keep the comfort of your favorite bike while getting that extra oomph for going up those hills or keeping up with the kids or spouse. The complete wheel and motor replace your front wheel, and the controls go on your handlebar for easy access and control.

The 24 volt lithium ion battery holds over 600 charges. The motor is an exceptionally quiet brushless DC motor. The average 180 pound rider can expect to ride about 24 miles at 12 mph on a flat surface on a bicycle with narrow tires. Of course, conditions will vary depending on the weight of the rider, terrain, wind, size of the bicycle, and how much you pedal. The EZPro requires the rider to pedal to engage the motor. The motor stops (disengages) when pedaling stops or slows way down. The motor re-engages once pedaling begins again. It is a smooth and effortless system that lets the motor assist the rider move along the path.

The kit can be added to your bike using the enclosed pedal crank arm tool to remove the left crank arm and install the sensor unit. The easy-to-follow instructions included with your kit will guide you through the installation in less than one hour. You will need a Phillips screw driver and an adjustable wrench. The Allen wrenches are included with the kit. You can also take your bike and kit to your local bike shop for easy installation in half an hour or less.
